The Role:
You will oversee a team of digital marketers and ultimately be responsible for the performance of paid digital marketing media campaigns. Supported by our Head of Paid Media, 2 Digital Marketing Managers and a team of Digital Marketing Specialists this business-critical role will play a significant part in ensuring the team continue to deliver in key target markets.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee media buying strategy, campaign creation, optimization, and rigorous testing strategy for full-funnel, multi-platform digital marketing strategies aligned to business priorities and KPI targets;
- Spearhead strategic thinking in the development of digital marketing and media buying plans to ensure they are delivering against agreed goals;
- Stay current with new advances in media and the competitive landscape, leveraging that knowledge to influence current and future strategies; drive media innovation, thought leadership, and best practice sharing throughout the company;
- Use insight plus data and analytics to define, support and influence decision making and campaign performance;
- Strategically optimize the allocation of media investment across paid search, programmatic, audio/video, paid social, paid influencers, sponsored content, and 3rd party publishers;
- Key liaison for all media questions, issues, knowledge for clients;
- Identify and lead prioritization of media projects to effectively manage workflow across the company and meet objectives;
- Establish and share media best practices and benchmarks across the company; highlighting opportunities to test, learn and optimize/evolve based on knowledge of customer insights, competitive media initiatives, new channels, and/or offerings by channel;
- Recruit, coach and develop a world-class digital marketing and media buying team that will deliver exceptional results;
- Safeguard and where possible enhance best in class approach to compliance.
You will possess:
- A clearly passionate, commercially minded marketing and digital leader with proven experience of leading high performance teams and delivering against expectation;
- Data driven and creative problem solver;
- Exceptional understanding of digital marketing processes, including PPC, Social, SEO and app based marketing techniques;
- Hands on experience of running digital marketing media campaigns with strong platform knowledge including Google, Facebook, YouTube, Content Marketing/SEO/CRO;
- Experience designing and delivering multi-channel campaigns focused on growth;
- Experience of leading cross functional project teams to deliver a common goal;
- Strategic and analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail;
- Ability to condense large amounts of information into concise and accurate summaries for the benefit of others.
